Here is the very first interesting thing you need to do - start a blog.

A blog in its simplest form is just an online journal where one can post their thoughts and ramblings. But did you know a blog can also be a source of income, a powerful marketing tool and maybe even your ticket to success. Lets get into to it:

First Steps - For the beginners out there that really don’t want to do any…um writing, I recommend Tumblr. Tumblr is a free Tumblelog host. Whats a Tumblelog? A really simple blog with a focus on sharing links, photos and videos that you find on the web.

Next Level - Want more than just a random collection of cat pictures? Got to the next level with a free blog from Blogger or Wordpress. I’m a fan of Wordpress but blogger is also very cool. Both are free and give you hosting space and plenty of options for design, functionality etc. Plus you can also integrate Google Adsense for a little $$$.

Extreme - Really? What, blogger wasn’t enough for you? If you’re the type of person to takes things to far, then you might as well get a hosting account (we recommend MediaTemple), use the autoinstaller (included with most hosts) to install Wordpress and finally install an awesome looking theme and a ton of useless plugins. Now you can build an entire brand around you, yourself and your blog. btw you might need something to write about.
